In an exclusive interview with Vibesng, Peter Okoye a.k.a Mr P who talked about his new single ‘Cool it down’, also talked about his issue with his twin brother and elder brother.
According to him, while he wanted was to keep his family together, all fanswanted was to have Psquare. He further disclosed that theOkoye brothers’ feud has lingered for four years.

“Some individuals decided to separate two individuals by saying this person is better than this person but my motto is, if you steal from Peter to pay Paul, you’re paying P-Square. Oh I hate this Peter. Well if you see two of us onstage with Peter on one side and Paul on the other side, you will watch the show like this (covering one side of his face with his phone).
The reason why I started responding to social media is because there was something that came out one time… My brother is my twin, fine, but you keep telling me blood is thicker than water. Obviously you think Paul is my blood and my family is the water? You guys better be out of your minds. Being apart is the best solution at the moment. It’s not pride. It’s not ego. It’s respect. We’ve lost it. Last year, nobody knew what was happening.
‘When are you guys releasing a song?’ They did not know we were fighting but we’d still go on stage and perform. All I wanted was to keep the family together but what the fans wanted was to have Psquare. We gave you guys Psquare even though the family had been fighting for about four years – even as of last year that we claimed we were back.
I cannot even face the shame of making the fans feel that we are okay. We are not okay. It’s not healthy. I don’t have any problem with their families- the wives, everybody. I am cool with them. I don’t know what’s wrong. I don’t know why it looks as if the hatred is on my family. I’ve tried to ask them what the problem is but nobody is telling me anything.”

22-year-old girl kills Uncle while defending herself from rape

A 22-year-old lady, Tina Rebecca Sunday is currently being held by the Enugu State Police Command for reportedly killing her uncle, Friday Mathew, in an incident that happened at Independence Layout area of Enugu on Thursday, October 26, 2017.
Tina a native Ikot Udobang Ukanafon, in Akwa Ibom State, who confessed to committing the said crime was arrested as she tried to flee the scene of the incident. However she claims the death of her uncle was accidental, as she struggled to escape getting raped by him.
She further claimed that her late 48-year-old Uncle before his death, tried to sleep with her. However he became violent over it because of her continuous resistance.

Tina who claimed she kicked his genitals to escape, said on the night of the incident she had sent Thank-God, her uncle’s 10-year-old son on an errand to buy sugar for her, and was lying down in the room, waiting for the boy to return, However Mathew, thinking she was asleep snuck up to her bed and tried to force himself on her.
According to her, the kick had no effect on him which made her use a stone to smash Mathew’s head.

“Really, it was not my intention to kill him as I never intended to do so although he has been disturbing me sexually,” Tina said.

Confirming the incident, the State’s Police PRO, Mr. Ebere Amaraizu, said Mathew’s son, Thank-God, returned from the errand only to meet his father’s lifeless body. He further disclosed that Tina allegedly told the boy to keep quiet, to avoid attracting attention, promising to take good care of him, after which she locked up the house and took him to the home of a relative.
After dropping the boy with the said relative, Tina ran away. Amaraizu added that the 22-year-old lady was apprehended before she could leave Enugu.

“When the child of the deceased came back and met the lifeless body of his father, he was allegedly warned by the suspect not to shout in order not to attract attention which would lead to her arrest.
“She (Tina) promised the young boy that she would take care of him, then she immediately locked up the house and went away with the boy and dropped him at one of their aunt’s place and disappeared.
“When operatives of the New Haven Division of the Enugu State Command got the report, they swung into action swiftly and were able to arrest the escaping Tina Rebecca Sunday who is now helping the operatives in their investigations,” Amaraizu said.
According to him, “The suspect is now regretting her action and begging for forgiveness as she never intended to kill the uncle.”

Policeman abducts and rapes 14-year-old child for 6 days in Anambra (Photos)

A Policeman attached to Anambra State Police Command and identified as Barau Garba, reportedly abducted and raped a 14-year-old childsent on an errand by her father, for 6 days.
It was gathered that the girl who lost the money given to her by her father to buy round cotton, was approached by Barau as she tried identifying the car she boarded. Tests carried out at Federal Medical Center, Asaba confirms there was indeed a penetration.
Facebook user, Ismaila Gambo Arabo who shared the story wrote;

“ABDUCTED AND RAPED FOR SIX DAYS BY A ROUGE NIGERIAN POLICE MAN.
Maryam Yusuf was just 14years old, an indigene of Kano state living with her parents in Asaba, Delta state. She does attend Islamic school in cable area known as Hausa quarters in Asaba, Delta state.
Maryam was sent by her father to Onitsha form Asaba on 14th of October 2017 to buy round cotton but unlucky for her she lost the money while on transit. During her efforts to identify the vehicle she boarded, while standing by the road side, she was approached by one corporal Barau Garba (mopol) with service number 275601 from MOPOL 7 Sokoto state who was on a special duty in Anambra, his team were attached with OKPOKO police divisional headquarters, Onitsha.
The rouge police corporal approached the teenage girl asking her of what happened, as the small girl explained to him how she lost her money on transit and her need to go back home, the police man Barau Garba deceived her by asking her to join him on his motorcycle so that he can take her back home.
Instead of taking the teenage girl back home to her parents safely, this Nigerian police corporal decided to abduct her and took her to a temporary police base and locked her up in his room and maliciously raped her for six (6) good days. This police man raped this teenage girl until her vagina raptured.
For these six agonizing days, innocent Maryam was begging him to take her home but he refused. His waterloo reached its peak when on the 5th day, in the middle of the night the innocent Maryam took his mobile phone and called her father to come to her rescue.
Maryam was taken to hospital on 25th October 2017 (yesterday) by a good samaritan because the police in accord with the DPO of OKPOKO division are not forthcoming with her case. They want to cover up the case, especially as they told the father that the issue have to be forgiven since ‘they’ both the rouge police corporal Barau Garba and them are all of northern origin.
Attached here is the hospital patient card where innocent Maryam was taken and various tests were conducted, and it was ascertained she was raped beyond human imagination and left with a raptured vagina.
The IGP have to use a holistic approach to root out these bad eggs amongst the Nigerian police, just like how a sixty years old woman
Who died from the police corruption, this Maryam Yusuf was defiled and humiliated by the same Nigerian police man.
Justice must be done here.

3 men arrested for allegedly defiling a 14-year-old girl

3 young men have been paraded by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), for allegedly defiling a 14-year-old secondary school pupil. One of the suspects identified as Osabuohien Aghimien, a mechanic apprentice who claimed he was the boyfriend of the victim, said he took her to his friend, Osamudiamen’s house for the night so they could have sex.
Osabuohien said that after having sex with her, his friends Osamudiamen Stephen and Victory Osayomwan, requested to have sex with her and she obliged them.

“I was there when they had sex with her. When my friend said he wanted to go in again, she agreed. When I went to their home the next day, I was apprehended. My friend wanted to give her money, but I refused.” he said.

Osamudiamen however said that his friend brought the young lady to his home, claiming that she is a commercial sex worker.

“He told us the girl is an ashawo (commercial sex worker). So, we all slept with her. She did not cry at all. He said we should use her for the night. We did not give her money.” The last suspect, Osayomwan, said he asked the young girl for sex and she did not turn him down.

The 14-year-old girl’s family members however accused the young men of having sex with their daughter, without her consent. The NSCDC Commandant Makinde Iskil said the suspects would be handed over to the appropriate authorities.

Kano records first monkey pox case, patient flees from hospital

Kano has recorded it’s first Monkey Pox case at Tiga General Hospital in Bebeji Local Government Area of the State. However the patient from Nasarawan Kuki village, reportedly fled from the hospitalon Wednesdaynight after being diagnosed of the disease.

Daily Nigerian reports that a source who pleaded anonymity said;

“He was quarantined here in order to avoid spreading disease, but he absconded from the hospital last night.
“We informed the authorities but no one made any effort to trace the whereabouts of the patient to avoid spreading the disease in Kano.”

Two corporate thieves arrested in Lagos

In a statement released on official social media handle of Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command, it was gathered that two corporate thieves which include; 18-year-old Seun Jimoh, a trainee auto-engineer that abandoned his mechanic work for pickpocketing in Oshodi because it was more profitable and 22-year-old Joseph Adeoye have been arrested.

Jimoh who had already stolen 4 phones was arrested after his two earlier victims Onuh Austine and Onesimus Paul raised an alarm after they saw him removing N18, 000 from the pocket of a commuter, Gbenga Odeniyi during a bus stampede. Jimoh decked in brown jackets and trousers, promptly dropped the money and took to his heels but RRS operatives close to the scene chased and caught him. The operatives after listening to all the accusations requested the victims’ phone numbers which they dialed, and their phones were found in Jimoh’s handbag.
Confessing to committing the said crime, Jimoh said;

“On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, I am always in Oshodi pickpocketing. I steal an average of eight phones on Mondays and maybe like nine phones on Fridays. I don’t really get more than five phones on Wednesdays’.

On the other hand, Joseph Adeoye, dressed in black suit was arrested after he was spotted removing a phone from handbag of a shopper during the commissioning of a shopping mall in Ikeja. He further confessed to have stolen several mobile phones and wallets in the same manner.
He said ‘I live in Ibafo, from where I come to Lagos visiting choice gatherings to pickpocket’.

Lady hides phone in soup for robber boyfriend in prison

A 33-year-old mother of two, Fatima Balogun, has been arrested by officers attached to Special Intelligence Unit of the NPS, after her plan to smuggle a phone to her boyfriend in prison custody was busted.
The divorcee who confessed that she hid the phone in the cooler of soup to beat Prisons officials, claimed she lived in Fagba, Iju-Saga area of Lagos and that she met her boyfriend Ganiyu Ajibode who was remanded for armed robbery six months ago, 2 years ago.
Fatima who had hidden the hidden the offending phone, wrapped in a cellophane paper, in the soup said “I know they will not allow me to take it to him in the prison.”
Speaking on the incident, Controller of Prisons, Ogun State command, CP Benson Abolade, said that Fatima’s move was against the Prison operation and the action was a threat to national security.

I am addicted to robbery, I can’t stop stealing – Suspect confesses

Joshua Tabiti, 31, has told operatives of the Zonal Intervention Squad, (ZIS) Onikan, Lagos State, that he couldn’t stop stealing and robbery, even if his life depended on it.

He said that he had been stealing right from his childhood. Three other members of the gang, arrested along with him are Oluseye Arokoyo (34), Ahmed Alli (24) and Moses Ofoke (31), receiver of the stolen vehicles.

Tabiti said: “I have done everything to stop stealing, but I couldn’t. My parents also tried their best, but I cannot do away with robbery. I was sacked where I worked as a driver after I stole my boss’ money.”

The suspect and his gang members were said to have stolen about 26 Toyota Camry cars from Oworoshoki, Bariga and Somolu areas of Lagos metropolis.

He said: “I’m a driver with two children.
I started doing this job after I was sacked where I worked as a driver at Victoria Island. My friend introduced me to this job in 2017. I have stolen 11 vehicles in Oworonshoki, Bariga and Somolu in Lagos. What we do is to go out around 2 a.m.
A man cuts a master key for us to steal Toyota cars. We open the cars and kick-start the ignitions. We don’t rob at gunpoint. We got the key for N1000 or N2000. After stealing, we send the cars to Ondo to two buyers.
The first car we stole was a Nissan salon. We sold it for N100, 000, the other; a Toyota Camry was sold for N200, 000. Others were sold for N300, 000. We usually share the money after selling the cars. I used my own money to rent a house and bought household items.”

Man rapes his own mother and breaks her neck in horror attack

An Ohio man has pleaded guilty to raping his 63-year-old mother..
Just moments after agreeing to a plea deal in court on Tuesday, the 46-year-old man told the judge he wasn’t guilty and wanted out of the deal, The Cincinnati Enquirer reported.

But after meeting with his attorney again, the man agreed to the plea deal again, accepting an 11-year prison sentence.
His attorney told the court that he was struggling with the idea of a long prison sentence.
The man said he doesn’t know what happened. He says someone might have put something in his drink.
‘This is a bad situation. I feel bad about the whole incident. But I don’t even know what happened. I blacked out, somebody slipped me something in my drink. I don’t even know what was going on. I just don’t know,’ he told the judge.
In exchange for pleading guilty to rape, felonious assault and kidnapping, prosecutors agreed to drop charges for attempted rape and abduction.
He was sentenced to 11 years in prison.
The felon is not being identified, so as to protect the identity of his victim.
Police say the assault happened last March, after the mother and son got into an argument about money.
According to court documents, the son dragged his mother around the home by her hair, causing parts of her scalp to rip off. He also punched her in the face and body.
The son then proceeded to rape his mother.
At one point, the mother made a run for it – fleeing the home while still naked.
She tried to get help at a neighbor’s house where she knocked on the door, but no one answered.
Her son chased after her, grabbed her and ‘threw her over a fence back to their yard,’ the prosecutor said.
Prosecutors say the man’s mother suffered a broken neck, bruises, cuts and bite marks during the assault earlier this year.
The Enquirer reported that the victim has not been involved in the case recently due to ‘affection for her son’.

Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau’s wife killed in airstrike

In a statement released by Director of Public Relations and Information, NAF Headquarters, Air Commodore Olatokunbo Adesanya on Wednesday in Abuja, human Intelligence claim that Boko Haram’s leader, Abubakar Shekau’s wife Malama Fitdasi Shekau, appeared to have been killed in recent successful airstrikes on Durwawa settlement on the outskirts of Urga, near Konduga.
According to Adesanya, who said efforts were ongoing to confirm the reported killing of Shekau’s wife, alongside other insurgents, Fitdasi was allegedly representing her husband in a coordinating meeting with other insurgents at the location of the airstrikes.
He said NAF had carried out aerial attacks on large number of insurgents at Durwawa on Oct. 19.
“Battle Damage Assessment had indeed revealed that the aerial attack set off a fire, causing damage to the insurgents’ structures within the settlement.
“The airstrike also succeeded in neutralising most of the insurgents with a few of them fleeing the location,” he said.
